OMG Trash is Everywhere!! is a 2D pixel-art puzzle game.

The story takes place in a digital world polluted by garbage, where a massive void has split open in the sky, continuously spewing trash that contaminates the oceans. Players will assume the role of the protagonist, Mily, who accidentally falls into this world. Guided by the enigmatic Mr. G, Mily resolves to restore order by educating everyone on proper waste disposal methods, embarking on a journey to save this polluted realm.

The core gameplay revolves around correctly sorting trash and disposing of it in the corresponding bins while progressing through seven increasingly challenging levels, which range from simple to complex garbage-cleaning tasks.

Through the trash-sorting gameplay mechanics, the game aims to raise players' environmental awareness. Players must push different types of trash into color-coded bins to complete level objectives. This mechanic not only tests players' reflexes but also subtly educates them on the importance of waste sorting.

OMG Trash is Everywhere!! Is a collaborative project developed by six students from RMIT and Monash University. All assets and music in the game are original, inspired by the issue of coastal garbage pollution.
